Mars is the fourth planet from the sun, in the solar system, it was named after the roman god of war, and they call it the ‘red planet ‘because of the redness on the planet and appearance, as seem from earth, and on the rim or out side from a front on view a light blue.
The surface of Mars is very soft red kind of soil from its red appearance and has many volcanoes and canyon’s located on the planet, the surface is iron oxide which is made up of rust. The atmosphere is very limited to thickness and very thing and is mostly made up of Carbon dioxide.
